Yes, it’s been very quite on all Jamie Lynn Spears fronts, but while her big sister Britney is selling out one venue after another (even with occasional verbal wardrobe malfunction), Jamie Lynn has not been idle. According to E! Online, Jamie Lynn Spears is going country and has been working on a country album since fall of 2008. That’s Jessica Simpson all over again.

Long before she became pregnant, Jamie Lynn Spears was asked by Associated Press how he saw her future. She told them she was going to stick with acting for a while, but would like to end up singing eventually. Looks like the plans have mixed up for her and since her acting career was put to stop with Zoey 101 series being defunct, Jamie Lynn Spears is putting all of her focus on singing. She’s a new country star in making.

There has been no official comments on the speculations from any of the Spears yet, but Jamie Lynn has allegedly already recorded some demo tracks in Nashville. She just needs a record label to cover her up so she’s shopping around for one. The only one time Jamie Lynn Spears recorded any music, it was with her sister Britney for Zoey 101 theme song. She’s been out of entertainment scene completely since birth of her daughter Maddie Briann. Even rumors of her wedding to Casey Aldridge seem to have been put on hold. And maybe this is why. Maybe Jamie Lynn Spears truly is recording a country album and it was her priority in life. So things like wedding were put on hold until the album is out. We’ll have to wait and see. We could be talking about a future country star.

Britney Spears, sister of Jamie Lynn Spears and the most famous of the Spears clan has filmed a half an hour long documentary with MTV called For the Record which is scheduled to air on Sunday, November 30th.

For the Record has confessions of Britney Spears about her previous life which lead to loss of her children and a public breakdown. Britney is fixing her image as of late and eventually emerged as clean and “together” girl – mostly thanks to the firm hand of her co-conservator, daddy Jamie Spears. Britney is now 26 year old and says her life is like a prison. She also mentioned that she envies other famous girls, such as Jessica Alba as well as her little sister Jamie Lynn Spears for they are not followed by mobs of paparazzi all the time.

I kind of agree with Britney Spears, but I still think she’s just one big cry baby and a whiner. I mean – she thinks it’s like being in prison that never ends, because the paparazzi will be there waiting for her every day. I’d want to see what she’d say if she didn’t have the money she has now, if banks were breathing down her neck looking to take away everything she has and her kids would have nothing to eat. I’m sure most of us ordinary people would gladly swop our, real problems with hers – being followed by the paparazzi. I’m sure it would drive you mental sooner or later having aggressive photographers sticking their lenses up your nose anywhere you move, but comon…

Anyway, For the Record with Britney Spears airs this Sunday on MTV. I won’t be watching, because I’m off to Cuba, but you should and let me know how it went. She will likely talk about Jamie Lynn Spears much more than I have mentioned here.

It’s only one day after Maddie Briann was born and Britney Spears has already left Louisiana and landed back in Los Angeles with her dad and caretaker Jamie Spears.

Britney left her busy LA life few days ago to be there when her little sister Jamie Lynn Spears gives birth to a first born child and despite everyone thinking that she was gonna stay away from LA for a while to take a breather from paps and media, it didn’t happen to be the case. Britney gave bye bye to Louisiana and is back at large in LA. Maybe there’s some serious business she needs to take care of we don’t know about, which is quite likely the case, as daddy Jamie Spears has been taking good care of her. If it wasn’t important, they wouldn’t have left. Britney is up to something. Let’s hope it’s for the good

Jamie Lynn’s big sister and troubled pop star Britney Spears has reportedly spent more than $30,000 on presents for Jamie Lynn and her unborn baby. Britney Spears has two little sons with ex-husband Kevin Federline and is looking to go generous for her future nephew or niece.

According to sources, Petit Tresor is in charge of designing the nursery for Jamie Lynn Spears’ baby in Kentwood, Louisiana. It’s being made of organic baby beddings and blankets and will bear an ocean theme. Britney also ordered a custom made stuffed elephant that will be bigger than Jamie Lynn herself – reportedly 6″ tall.

Famous pop star Britney first blamed their mom Lynne Spears for pregnancy of her little sister Jamie Lynn (16) and now she’s blaming herself. Britney claimed she tried to lead her little sister a good way and is really disappointed in her now that she got pregnant. Britney wanted Jamie Lynn to be a kid and put off adult activities like sex and boozing till later. Britney allegedly said:

“I just can’t believe she’s pregnant. She is way too young to be a mom. She should be having fun and stuff, not having a baby.”

Two weeks ago, Britney Spears allegedly called her mom Lynne Spears, and blamed her for Jamie Lynn’s pregnancy during a long phone call. Britney and her mom have been quite estranged ever since the family forced Britney to rehabilitation against her own will. According to reports, Britney felt left out of the family and it is possible she feels she will be left out being part of Jamie Lynn’s baby.

Jamie Lynn Spears is a good looking girl. I myself think it’s unfortunate she got knocked up at such early age. Pregnancy can ruin her body and she’s too young for that. She could have made it far but this definitely doesn’t help her at all.

Britney Spears is believed to have been the last one to be made aware of her little sister’s pregnancy, but she’s already on a mission of buying baby clothes. Jamie Lynn Spears already knows what it is like to be an aunt, now Britney is getting a chance to be one. And she doesn’t procrastinate gift shopping, she went out to the Hollywood & Highland Center and spent whole afternoon looking for baby clothes.

The news of her Jamie Lynn’s pregnancy caught Britney Spears off guard but she knows what it’s like to be a mother and vowed to be supportive, even though her past as a parent of two children – Sean Preston and Jayden James – is not the best example of parenting. Britney recently lost custody over the children to her ex husband Kevin Federline.

Britney Spears is reportedly furious that her little sister Jamie Lynn didn’t come to her with news of her pregnancy but left her to find it out from newspaper reports.

Reports further say that Britney and Jamie Lynn did get a hold of each other in the meantime and talked about pregnancy and related issues, but when they talk it’s no longer as if two sisters who are close to each other talked. Jamie Lynn allegedly blames her famous sister for estranging herself from the family and being too focused on herself.

It is likely the famous Spears’ sisters will not spend the Christmas together. Britney Spears is 26 years old, while Jamie Lynn Spears is 16.

19 years old Casey Aldridge, the boyfriend of 16 years old Jamie Lynn Spears and an expectant father of her unborn baby could be in trouble for sex with a minor. The reports are not clear on his exact age, but if he’s 19, then he could be facing felony carnal knowledge charges. If he’s 18, which according to some reports he is, then he will be OK.

Louisiana state law states that a person who is 19 years of age or older could face felony carnal knowledge charges if proven to have had sex with a person who is over the age of 13 and under the age 17. Jamie Lynn just turned 16 last April so she fits the bill perfectly. The only question now remains – what is your exact age, Casey Aldridge? According to Louisiana law, persons find guilty of felony carnal knowledge could face up to 10 years in prison and a $5k fine.

I personally can’t imagine anyone pressing any charges against Casey Aldridge. He’s been dating Jamie Lynn Spears for 2 and a half years which means they started dating when they were both teens and both underage. They have likely started their sexual relationship before Casey reached adulthood (18 years of age). Casey has been Jamie Lynn’s stay in boyfriend for a while too. It is clear that the two loved each other and were serious about the relationship. Any charges against Casey Aldridge would have to be utterly ridiculous.

Britney Spears made an unexpected appearance on the set of Zoey 101 -a “tween” show by Nickelodeon and completely berated Alexa Nikolas who’s a Zoey 101 co-star of Britney’s little sister Jamie Lynn Spears. Alexa Nikolas is 13 years old and is a big fan of Britney Spears. Being torn to pieces by her idol like that was a heart tearing experience for Alexa Nikolas, who’s been buying Britney’s CDs since she was six years old. Witnesses of the incident say that it was uncalled for and Alexa Nikolas was upset and was crying. Britney allegedly exchanged hash words with the teenage girl but she left like she was sticking up for Jamie Lynn.
