I really don’t agree about the importance of wedding. Having a child is the greatest engagment of all. A divorce is easier made without kids. 2 unmaried parents will have to talk to each other even if they separate for the sake of the kid but 2 married people without kid can divorce and never talk to each other anymore. Mariage doesn’t mean a couple is stronger or anything like that…

I’m confused on this whole situation, why isn’t Casey getting any charges pressed against him for having sex with a minor, becuase in the courts eyes that’s considered rape? I guess because he’s with a celebrarity that’s okay. It just doesn’t seem right what so ever.

I don’t see how it’s the “logical next step” at all. Teenagers get horny and have sex, sometimes they’re stupid about it and end up pregnant. Having a kid together is never a good reason to get married, especially when you’re as young as she is. The fact that she ended up pregnant is in fact the biggest indicator that she shouldn’t get married, if she made poor choices regarding sex, how can you expect her to make good choices regarding and even bigger decision like marriage?

And another thing! “Marriage creates a bond”? If marriage created a bond, no one would ever get divorced. Marriage should be the result of a strong bond, and it is never the cause of one.

Hmm, why should they marrie? And when Casey is there, Jamie sends him away. Not that he really cares about that, because he doesn’t care for his daughter.

And.. nobody knows if they are still engaged. So why should they marrie? This doesn’t look like love to me..

i onehundred percent agree with you.
just cause he isn’t famous doesn’t mean he wouldn’t be good for jamie.
maybe that is what she needs.
someone who treats her like a real person, not a celebrity.
